Digitaliseerumine on organisatsioonide praktikas justkui igapäevane ja teisalt üsna ühekülgne. Digiallkirjad, e-post jms on midagi, millele enam palju ei mõtle, kui kõne all on organisatsiooni efektiivsust puudutavad töövood. Kuidas aga kujundada töövood keskkonnasäästu arvestades, sellest on mitmel pool palju juttu ning mõned praktilised sammudki astutud, kuid need on minuni jõudvates praktikates siiski pigem formaalsed (mis on samuti oluline). Küll aga ei ole minuni ei ole jõudnud infot, kus organisatsiooni töövoogusid oleks analüüsitud näiteks keskkonnasäästu seisukohast – mis on kõige olulisemad mõjutajad nii praktilises kui tunnetusraamistike tähenduses? The accelerated digitalization of processes and working models did not happen for many organizations as a result of long-term planning but was rather imposed by lockdowns and external restrictions. In the authors’ opinion, this currently happening work r(e)volution could be either a major opportunity or a threat for the labor world.

This tendency is very strong in the big, often polluted cities. According to a study that was published in “Nature Human Behavior”, the more polluted the city, the more likely office workers will order lunch.


The company, which was the main object of the research, reduced its CO 2 emissions thanks to the introduction of:

  • remote recruitment process
  • remote and hybrid working models.
